documents and contracts in close co-operation with notaries, fiscal
advisers and other partners.
Commercial law, and international sales and
distribution law
In matters affecting
the law of contracts, we draft national and international contracts
in the fields of business law Commercial distribution law,
franchising, sales and agency contracts -often critical in Belgian
law- constitute a significant part of our activity. Other privileged
sectors are the drafting of general conditions of sale and their
adaptation to current jurisprudence.
Competition law and anti-trust law
We
enjoy extensive experience in European and Belgian competition and
anti-trust law, taking full advantage of our proximity to the seat of
European Union institutions.
Industrial property law
We
draft, revise and develop contracts concerned with co-operation
assignments and licenses. We look after trademark registrations, both
national and international, and represent clients in trademark,
patent and litigation. We also give advice, draft all agreements and
defend our client¿s interests in matters of copy-right and

related litigation.
Labour law
In
the field of social law, our main activity involves the drafting,
negotiation and execution of labour and management contracts. We
represent clients when such contracts are to be drafted, modified or
terminated. This also includes appearances before labour
tribunals.
Banking law, leasing, and commercial documents
The
conclusion of credit contracts, constitution of guaranties, problems
with letters of credit in international banking activities, the law
of cheque and bills of exchange are fields in which this firm has
acquired a long-lasting experience.
Litigation
We have a long-lasting
successful
experience in litigation. Belgium, being a country with three
languages, we litigate in Dutch, French and German, following the
situation of the court where the case is pending. We are admitted
with all Belgian courts, except the High Court (Cour de Cassation),
and have successfully defended our clients¿ interests at the
European Court of Justice. We also have a long-lasting experience in
commercial arbitration.
External legal consultation for companies
Enterprises and business people are increasingly confronted with
complex legal questions requiring early resolutions before economic
